The stilt on the left is kneeling so a young stilt can huddle in its feathers. If you look very closely at the adult's legs you can see the dangling foot of the young bird. The young bird has greenish legs while the adult has pink legs. On the right the adult has stood up and the young bird has fallen out of its parent's feathers.
