A Trip Report - New Orleans, Louisiana March 12-17
Green Heron - Fishing at the Audubon Park lake
A five day trip to the New Orleans area was entertaining and surprising. The thousand or more Black-bellied Whistling Ducks at the Audubon Park were very exciting. Time was also spent at the City Park of New Orleans, the Big Branch National Wildlife Refuge and the Audubon Zoo. Birds such as the Whooping Crane, Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Duck, Fulvous Tree Duck, Flamingo, White-breasted Cormorants and others were photographed at the Audubon Zoo at Audubon Park. |
